God’s Saints are Martyred Part 3

Revelations 12:10-11

How then will a person win the fight against the antichrist and satan?   Read Revelation 12:10-11 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. They were willing to die as a martyr for Christ. When I say they were willing to die, I do not mean that all of them walked up to this enemy and surrendered. I mean they were given various choices: renounce Christ or die. Renounce Christ or starve. Renounce Christ or see your family die. These chose to remain faithful to their master, the Lord Jesus Christ the King of the Jews. They did not love this life more than Him. So if you want to overcome during this horrific time, you must be willing to die.

Not only must you be willing to die. Scripture actually takes this step even further. John in the Book of Revelations makes an unexpected statement. Read 14:12-13 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” How can the saints patiently endure? Know it is a greater blessing to die than to face the persecutions and the last plagues that will follow. You may not be given the opportunity not to die; you may be beheaded. However, welcome this death. Count death as a friend. Once a Christian dies and passes into the next life all pain a suffering will be no more. Death is just a door way into the greatest joy and happiness one could ever wish to imagine.

Christ said this to some earlier Christians. “Be thou faithful unto death and I will give you a crown of life.” Rev 2:10
