3 Events of the End Time
As Jesus was leaving the temple, the said this to his disciples He said to his discipes in Matthew 24: 1-3, “See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Christ was taking about the destruction of the Jewish temple. Believe me, this got their attention.
Pay close attention to the three questions these disciples asked in Matthew 24:3
- When shall these things be?
- What shall be the sign of thy coming,
- What shall be the sign of the end of the world?
In the verses which follow, it would seem probable that Christ gave an answer to each of these three questions. Therefore, read this answers in Matthew and determine what verses apply to which question. For instance, in verse 5 he said, “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Does this verse refer to the time when the temple was destroyed, the sign of his coming, or a sign of the end of the world? Or does it apply to all three?
