God’s Saints are Martyred Part 2

 Revelations 13: 7-10

In a previous post, God’s Saints are Martyred Part 2, I pointed to the scripture that states God’s saints will be martyred during the tribulation. I realize for most of the “churched” that thought is a tough pill to swallow. However, I promised to be honest with you. By the way, this thought does not bring a smile immediately to my face either. How is one to survive? Food will be scarce and people will be hunted down. Some of the Jews will be providentially protected at this time; I will address this topic in the future. Some will endure until the time that Christ's returns to set up his rule on this earth. However, before that time comes many saints will be killed. Referring back to Revelation 13:7-10 "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."

We are told if you have ears to hear, then hear what is being said. Many will disregard this post. It does not fit into what they would like to hear and believe. They would rather find a preacher that would tell them there will be a worldwide revival, evil will be put down, and all that God’s children need to do is reclaim what God promised them back in Geneses. However, I will not do that. Here what this passage has to say. Those that led into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Let me attempt to explain. The antichrist and second beast will round up many and deliver them to prison. Satan wants a one-sided message (lie) to be propagated. Most people will be deceived and believe their lie. Many will be killed by the sword ( sword, gun, artillery, missiles, gas, guillotine, etc.…), and those that kill with the “sword” will die by the “sword” Revelation 19:11-15 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. .And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Two words of warning. Know that this time is coming and do not be persuaded to physically fight this enemy. There is a way to win, and it is outlined within these and similar passages of scripture which we will address next time.
